Oppo Find X2 Pro is another flagship offering from Oppo that competes with the likes of Samsung Galaxy S20 in terms of specifications. The flagship is designed for elegance and aesthetics and it does look beautiful.
Specifications
This phone is created with more focus on the camera and display. Although it has a flagship Snapdragon 865 along with 12 GB of RAM that makes it an amazingly fast device, the display and the camera stand out when compared to rest of the devices in this class.

The Oppo Find X2 Pro is powered by a Snapdragon 865 chipset and is available with 12 GB RAM. It has super fast UFS 3.0 storage of 512 GB. The battery is 4260 mAh which is sufficient to power the 120Hz display throughout the day with average usage. The phone also has a 65W SuperVOOC fast charging that can charge from 0% to 100% in less than 40 Minutes. The phone lacks wireless charging which shouldn’t be a big concern as it has such high speed wired charging available. Oppo Find X2 Pro is a single sim device. It has support for USB version 3.1 and has support for OTG. NFC support is also present in this device.
Design and Form Factor
Oppo Find X2 Pro has a typical yet classy 2020 flagship design having a large display with thin bezels. It is a glass and ceramic sandwich with chamfered edges like most other flagships. The back of the device has a unique micro texture rather than a plain smooth glass that gives it a more premium feel and a sturdier grip. The back also has a camera bump towards the left side which is rather huge compared to the rest of the device. At the front, there is a punch hole selfie camera at the top left part of the screen. The USB Type-C port and the speaker rest at the bottom of the device and there are no headphone jacks (which shouldn’t be a surprise). The USB port has support for audio output so a wired headphone can be used with a connector.
Display
Oppo Find X2 Pro has a 6.78 Inch 1440p AMOLED display with a refresh rate of 120Hz. The display tapers to both sides which can result in accidental touches especially while taking selfies. AMOLED panel has darker blacks and punchier colours and very good contrast ratio. The refresh rates and resolution are independent on this one so you can customize it as per you liking and as per the battery needs. Resolution can also be set to Auto Select so that the phone toggles it as per the content that is playing on the screen and the battery levels. Setting also have a colour tone adjustment where you can set the colour temperature or you can turn on the nature tone display mode for a more natural display depending on the ambient light around you.
Camera
The Oppo Find X2 Pro has a triple camera setup at the back with a 48MP primary shooter along with a 48MP ultra wide lens and 13MP periscope telephoto lens having 5X Optical Zoom. The highlights of the camera are sharpness and colour accuracy of the pictures. The white balance, hues and skin tones in the auto modes are spot on. Dynamic range is not very great compared to some other flagships. Even with HDR on, you tend to lose details while clicking pictures where there is more dynamic range. Exposure control is another department where it falls behind. Night mode is very good and you can easily capture subject in conditions where lighting is not sufficient enough. The total zoom that can be achieved is 60X although pictures are not much usable at this zoom level. Pictures up to 10X zoom are very usable. Videos can be captured at 4k 60FPS and they are quite stable with good colour reproduction. The Oppo Find X2 Pro also has a 32MP front camera that can capture some excellent images. Edge detection is very accurate and creates some very decent Bokeh pictures. The front camera also has support for night mode.
Overall Experience
One of the biggest downsides of Oppo phones has been the Colors OS which was very cartoony and had a lot of bloatware. Oppo has finally taken note of this and refined Color OS to make it more user friendly. Color OS now looks cleaner and organized with an overall visual improvement. Color OS includes stock Google apps along with Oppo apps so the user can disable one of them as per their preference. Also, the OS has undergone many refinements to make it more likable. Oppo Find X2 Pro also has an improved haptic engine that one of the best in the industry as far as android phones are concerned, so the touch feedback on this device feels natural.
